Volunteer Trip to Kolkata, India – Join Us and Make a Difference!
After the success of last year’s volunteer journey, we are excited to announce that ONE. World Alliance e.V. will continue offering the unique opportunity to experience meaningful development work in Kolkata, India. This 15-day trip combines hands-on volunteering with an immersive group experience, guided by experienced guides and local partners.
If you’ve always dreamed of getting involved in volunteering in a developing country, this is your chance!
What Awaits You
From December 27, 2025, to January 10, 2026, you’ll not only discover a whole new world but also become part of a community of like-minded people. You’ll volunteer in projects that support some of the most vulnerable individuals in Kolkata – with full guidance and in a safe, supportive environment.
We’ll take care of lodging, meals, and organization – so you can fully focus on what really matters: making a difference.
Possible Projects You Can Join
• Missionaries of Charity – Nirmal Hriday: Care and emotional support for sick and dying homeless individuals.
• Prem Dan: Assistance in shelters for elderly and sick homeless people.
• Sishu Bhavan: Helping orphaned or sick children with care, learning, and play.
• Streetwork with ONE: Morning outreach at Kolkata’s largest train station, offering basic medical care and pastoral support.
• Seva Kendra Calcutta: Support with English lessons, administration, or marketing – based on your personal skills and interests.
Whether you’re supporting people in need or sharing your professional skills – your time and presence can change lives.
We believe in helping hands and in the power of community.
Be Part of It
The participation fee is 30€ per day, covering:
• Accommodation in single or double rooms at Seva Kendra Calcutta
• 2 lovingly prepared buffet meals per day (Breakfast in a Western café separate)
• Coordination and on-site guidance, as well as an optional free-time program
